Quality value packages: These packages are the best vacation deals. An accommodation in 3 or 4 star like hotels or special guesthouses. The Beds can be two twin beds or one Queen or King. En-suite full bathrooms normally contain hairdryers, toiletries and towels. Bathrooms are fully equipped, either with a shower or a bathtub. WiFi internet is available in all hotels free of charge. Quality accommodation offers restaurant on site. Possibility to upgrade to superior or deluxe rooms, when available.
Superior value packages: These are 4 star hotels (or upgrade to superior rooms or suites in 3 star hotels where 4 star is not available. Despite its rather misleading name, only 11% of Iceland is covered by ice. That said, it is home to Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull, as well as 268 others.
Volcanic eruptions in Iceland happen, on average, every five years. Although international media coverage surrounding the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption might lead one to believe otherwise, volcanic eruptions in Iceland tend to not have much impact on daily life.
