Reykjavík Walking Tour

The famous two hour walking tour focuses on the history of Iceland, the evolution of Reykjavík as a town and Icelandic culture in general, laid out in an informative and comic way by either Marteinn (Martin), Eiríkur (Erik), Sara, Jóhannes (Joe), Tómas, Þórdís (Disa) or Nanna. This tour has no fixed price, instead it runs on the great Free Walking Tour model found all over the world where each participant sets the price of the tour afterwards instead of in advance. As a result, the guide relies solely on your contribution and works hard for their share in the donations. The classic tour departs multiple times a day all year around. Occasionally on holidays we take a day off.

Reykjavík Food Tour

Reykjavik has become a melting pot of great restaurants and what makes them unique is their foundation – the pure Icelandic ingredients. We will take you to „fresh from the farm“ stores, Nordic kitchen restaurants along with multicultural ones. While we taste delicious samples we hear the stories behind the ingredients and the cooking. Since we only take maximum 12 people on in each tour then everyone should have plenty of time to ask questions, relax and have an exclusive experience. We keep the the identity which places will be visited a secret and then one by one they are revealed. Reykjavík Classic Whale Watching

Summer season (1 April - 31 October) is great for whale watching, as the wildlife in the Faxaflói bay is at it's highest peak! This is the time when the Minke whales are at their most abundant, along with White-beaked dolphins, Harbour porpoises and the occasional Humpback whales, giving the chance to enjoy and understand them in their natural environment. Winter season (1 November - 31 March) is a whole other experience and adventure compared to the summer tours. Each year continues to surprise with the wildlife it offers. The winter low lying sun is also something not to be missed, as it casts a warm glow over the white-capped mountains surrounding the bay and to breathe in the winter's fresh and crisp air is just incredible. The Tours depart from Reykjavík Harbor. Combine this activity with a seasonal Puffin tour, Northern Lights Cruise, Imagine Peace Tower tour or other combo packages.
