Day 1

REYKJAVÍK CITY

Day 2

REYKJAVÍK & WHALE WATCHING

Reykjavik is an exciting modern city with lots to see and do, or if you want to relax visit one of the many spas and swimming pools. The day is yours to explore Reykjavik and the surrounding countryside. Iceland has spectacular scenery and much of this is only an hour or two from Reykjavik.
Whale watching tour from Reykjavik Harbour at 13 pm. The tour duration is about 3 hours. You will take part in an adventure at sea with an unforgettable trip into the world of whales and sea birds. Conveniently located in Reykjavík’s old harbor, a three hour journey can bring you up close to whales in their natural habitat. The various types of whales commonly sighted include minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbor porpoises and the popular humpback whales. You will be accompanied by sea birds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots, cormorants, gulls, kittiwakes, arctic terns, and many more. The trips go past several islands inhabited by colonies of puffin.

Day 3

GOLDEN CIRCLE

Optional Golden circle tour. Pick up from hotel 8.30 am. (not included in price).
The Golden Circle is a fascinating experience. You can walk around the world-famous Geysir geothermal area, a geothermal field where hot springs are in abundance. You can choose to do the Golden Circle tour in a Super Jeep and add on a snowmobile trip. You also stop by the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall and visit Þingvellir national park, the original site of the oldest existing parliament in the world.

Day 4

DEPARTURE

Departure, depending on the time of flight to the USA. If you have time you can stop at the Blue Lagoon on your way to the airport.
