Evenings are spent in total relaxation, telling stories, playing cards and barbecuing Icelandic delicacies.
The intensity of the Northern Lights, the shooting stars and the nothingness is a once in a lifetime experience!

Day 1

Arrival & Reykjavík!

A private driver will drive you to your luxury hotel in Reykjavik. Stay there one night before being collected from your hotel and driven through amazing scenery to your location in the remote wilderness.
Reykjavík is the northern most capital city in the world. Lined with colorful, corrugated steel buildings, the streets in the downtown area are very pedestrian-friendly and full of fascinating museums, quaint shops, and cozy cafes.
Spend the day exploring the city at your leisure, visit museums, shops or even take an additional tour from the city; such as a whale watching tour from the old harbor.

Day 2

Into the Wild

Your private driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the countryside on a specially transformed super jeep. You stay 2 nights in a remote and isolated hut, where you get a special Icelandic mountain barbeque dinner, with refreshments, live music, storytelling, outdoor Jacuzzi and more.
On our way to this wonderful, remote, area – we will pass through the Þjórsárdalur Valley (coming from Reykjavík). This valley is known for sharp contrasts, so it’s most suitable to travel by super jeep past its lush birch forests, over its rugged lava fields, and through its flowing rivers. In this area you will find Þjórsá, Iceland’s longest river. We pass by Hekla, one of Iceland’s most active volcanoes that were bequeathed the nickname “Gateway to Hell” in the middle Ages.
Now it’s time to set your mind free and get ready for the central Icelandic highlands. We drive through tough conditions to the remote private hut in an area located 12miles south east of Hofsjökull glacier, the hut is warmed up with fireplace that brings you the special up-in-the-mountain feeling. When we arrive at the hut, we settle down, take out the snowmobiles, settle in and start cooking the dinner. After a day brimming with adventure, we spend the night in a mountain hut surrounded by unparalleled panoramic views. The evening is used to relax, tell stories, play cards and enjoy the remoteness hopefully with the Northern Lights lighting up the sky.

Day 3

Highland Adventure Day

We settle down for breakfast and get ready for a big day of super jeep and snowmobile driving. Today will be full of action, including snow scooter rides, ice fishing and net fishing, and a super jeep ride in the snow covered terrain of the highland mountains. If you need to recharge your batteries and experience something unique, then this is it!
Your staff will get you ready for outdoor conditions. We will start with energetic breakfast; from there we start our journey to untouched central Iceland. The terrain is covered with snow and your staff will use all their skills to get you around this tough condition. You will be a part of all the action, pulling up the cars, digging them out when they get stuck and gain the knowledge of pure Icelandic mountaineering. We will arrive in the afternoon and you will get a free time to use the snowmobiles, hang out in the hut and even do some fishing. For dinner we will cook Icelandic lamb in a special highland way. We dig the lamb in the snow where it cooks for two hours. We use the evening to enjoy life without time – by guitar playing, story telling and if the sky allows we enjoy the Northern Lights and the shooting stars.

Day 4

Back to Reykjavík

After long leisure days with action, we pack our belongings and get ready to leave this beautiful and peaceful place. We jump into the super jeeps that will take us back to Reykjavík City, where you will spend your last day in Iceland.
The way back to Reykjavík can be taken through the Golden Circle area and/or the Landmannalaugar area, depending on weather conditions. You will see some of the most amazing places such as: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Þingvellir national park. Þingvellir is an ancient site of the world’s first parliament and a jewel of nature. The nearby Geysir geothermal area is known for boiling pools and hot springs where the most active geyser, Strokkur, shoots water high into the air every few minutes. Close by is the beautiful Gullfoss waterfall, among the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland.
Landmannalaugar is an astonishing area surrounded by colorful rhyolite mountains. Geothermal activity flourishes here and the surreal beauty of the uninhabited interior reveals deep valleys and sculptured, often mossy mountains, many formed by volcanic eruptions under glaciers during the Ice Age.
You will be dropped off at your hotel in Central Reykjavík City, where you will spend your last night in Iceland. Relax and enjoy the city and what it has to offer!

Day 5

Your private driver will pick you up at the hotel in the morning, depending on your flight time, and take you to Keflavík International airport for your flight back home. Along the way to Keflavík, you can stop by at The Blue Lagoon. Soak in its warm, therapeutic water for a few hours before heading on to the airport to catch your flight home.
Bláa Lónið, popularly referred to by its English name “the Blue Lagoon,” this geothermal spa is arguably one of Iceland’s most popular attractions. Although it blends seamlessly with the lava fields that surround it, it’s a man-made lagoon, fed by surplus water from the adjacent Svartsengi Power Station. The warm water is rich in minerals such as silica and sulfur, and is renowned for its unique healing properties.
