  • New Years Elite

6 Nights, christmas and/or new years

    From $3,323 per person

This is a unique tour. A combination of a small group tour and New Years Eve in Iceland. You will enjoy hunting for the Northern Lights, visit the remote West and the popular South, including the Golden Circle, the Waterfalls and the Glaciers in the South as well as the famous Jokulsarlon Glacier lagoon. The Northern lights are one of the great natural wonders of the world, illuminating the night sky with continually changing patterns of iridescent color and producing a natural laser show. Our New Years/Christmas Celebration tour will take you to western Iceland where you will get to explore beautiful landscapes, stay in a country lodge, and hunt for the spellbinding northern lights. And if you like to spend the New Years evening in Reykjavik the fireworks and bonfires are a unique experience. In 2016 we had a combo of fireworks, bonfires and northern lights. You can set your own dates, but please note that availability is extremely limited. This tour is flexible and the dates and itinerary can be arranged in a difference sequence than shown here. Talk to us about your Christmas/New Years Celebration and we will find the perfect solution for you.

Why Iceland?

Accessible via a short, five-hour flight from the east coast of the United States, Iceland is a lot closer than you might imagine

Glaciers

Despite its rather misleading name, only 11% of Iceland is covered by ice. That said, it is home to Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull, as well as 268 others.

Volcanoes

Volcanic eruptions in Iceland happen, on average, every five years. Although international media coverage surrounding the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption might lead one to believe otherwise, volcanic eruptions in Iceland tend to not have much impact on daily life.
